How to Print a Monogram

When it comes to personalized items, monograms seem to be growing in popularity. In this tutorial, we will be using one of our monograms to prepare for printing. Since our letters are saved separately in PNG format, we are using an application that automatically positions these when uploaded.
Upload Monogram Letters
The first thing we need to do is upload our first letter by opening the image.
Merge the Layers
Click on the "three-dot" icon and merge visible layers.Resize the Monogram
Click the "layout and template" tool and the "resize page" button. Set your image proportions according to the item you will be personalizing and apply your changes. If you are decorating a black shirt, you can use this chart to help you resize your image.
Mirror the Image
Depending on the transfer paper brand, you may need to flip the image horizontally to show correctly on the shirt when pressing. Please refer to the instructions included with the transfer sheet. If not required, you can skip this step.
Setup Page and Image
Click the "layout and template" tool and the "set page size" button. If you plan to print on letter-size paper, you can set this to 2550 x 3300 pixels. Select your anchor point - we are placing our image on the top left of the page. Apply your changes.Save Your Work
Save your file in PNG format to maintain the transparent background.Print Your Monogram
The print settings vary depending on the method you are using. If you are using a transfer paper, normally you would click on "print" and set your preferences. Choose your paper type and size. Set the print to best quality. Apply your changes and print.
